A Texas man has been arrested after authorities said he made violent threats connected to a major Turning Point USA women’s event scheduled to take place in San Antonio.
Jacob Wenske, 26, of San Antonio, was taken into custody early Thursday and charged with two felony counts of making a terroristic threat causing public fear.
He is being held on $120,000 bond, according to local reports.
Investigators say the case began after a Facebook post promoted Turning Point USA’s upcoming Women’s Leadership Summit in San Antonio.

Authorities allege Wenske responded in the comment section with a message stating that he knew where to bomb.
Investigators also reviewed another comment in which he referenced being a valet for an escort.
Court records reportedly show Wenske had previously worked for a parking management company that provided valet services for hotels and special events.
Authorities viewed that detail as significant because the summit is scheduled at the San Antonio Marriott Rivercenter, located along the city’s River Walk.
Investigators later uncovered an email allegedly linked to Wenske that included threats against Erika Kirk and other speakers connected to Turning Point USA events.
Kirk, the CEO of Turning Point USA, is expected to appear as a featured speaker at the Women’s Leadership Summit.
The event is scheduled to run from June 5 through June 7 and is expected to draw more than 2,500 attendees.
Following the arrest, security for the event was increased.
Turning Point USA said it is working closely with local and federal law enforcement and thanked the San Antonio Police Department and the FBI for responding quickly.
The organization said the safety of attendees, speakers and staff remains its top priority.
Turning Point USA also said the event will continue as planned with enhanced security measures, including private security and local police.
The case comes after previous threats targeting conservative political events and public figures.
Kirk has reportedly faced threats since taking over leadership of the organization following the murder of her husband, Charlie Kirk, at a Turning Point event in 2025.
Wenske’s attorney did not immediately comment publicly on the allegations.
The case remains active as prosecutors move forward with the charges.
For now, authorities say the planned summit will continue under heightened security.
Why It Matters
The arrest highlights growing concerns over political violence and threats targeting public events. With thousands expected to attend the Turning Point USA summit, law enforcement treated the alleged threats as serious and moved quickly before the event began.
What Comes Next
Wenske’s case will continue through the Texas court system while security remains elevated for the Women’s Leadership Summit. Turning Point USA says the San Antonio event will proceed as scheduled.
