At least 19 people were injured after a suspected stampede broke out early Sunday morning at Atlantic Beach in South Carolina, officials said.
Horry County Fire Rescue said crews responded shortly after 1 a.m. to a reported stampede near the stage area in Atlantic Beach, located about 13 miles north of Myrtle Beach.
Officials said 19 people were evaluated for injuries at the scene. The injuries were described as non-life-threatening.
Three people were transported to local hospitals for further treatment.

The incident happened while Atlantic Beach was hosting the annual Memorial Day Black Pearl Cultural Heritage and Bike Festival, also known as Black Bike Week. The event includes live music, parties, entertainment and other activities during the holiday weekend.
Authorities have not confirmed whether the people injured in the suspected stampede were attending the festival.
The annual motorcycle rally draws large crowds to the area each year. According to the town, Black Bike Week has previously attracted hundreds of thousands of visitors to the Myrtle Beach region.
Officials have not yet released details on what caused the crowd surge or whether any arrests were made.
Emergency crews continued to monitor the area after the incident as Memorial Day weekend events continued.
